Are you Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic or Auditory Digital?

November 23, 2014 by LeslieThornton

29341452_sEver think about how the words you use could represent how well your brain accepts what is being presented?

Predicates are the verbs or action phrases used in sentences.  The verbs hint at a specific sensory system preference an individual has.

Visual predicates-see, look, reveals, crystal Ex) I see what you mean.

Auditory predicates-hear, listen, sounds, resonates Ex) I hear what you are saying.

Kinesthetic predicates-feel, touch, tap into, get a handle of, catch on Ex) I need to get a feel for this.

Auditory Digital predicates-sense, experience, understand, think, consider, know Ex) I experience this to be true.

Why does knowing this matter?”

When building rapport, you can start to key into what words people use most often to find out which sense they most often take in information from.

You can begin to use words that are within their sensory preference, which helps to build rapport!!

It’s also fun to see what your sensory preference is to know how you respond as well!
