Everything you do now is motivated by how you want to FEEL before, during, or after it is done. So why not tailor your resolutions in the same way?
Sometimes, the things you choose to do to make you feel good, like eating, drinking, smoking, being in a not so great relationship, spending money, working, etc. are… not so healthy and sustainable. (I absolutely used to fall into this category).
Find out if you do by asking yourself the questions below.
What do I ALREADY do that makes me feel good and happy?
What do I ALREADY do that makes me feel free?
What do I ALREADY do that makes me feel peaceful?
Is what I’m doing ALREADY healthy and sustainable–will it last long-term?”
If so, then GREAT! Keep doing what you’re doing, add on more good stuff if you’re ready this year!
If not, then ask:
What IS a way that I can achieve these feelings in a healthy and sustainable way–a way that will really LAST–FOR GOOD!?

TIP: All lasting good feelings you have can only be obtained from deep within yourself–not from anywhere else. The hard part is being willing to go there. The amazing part is what you find when you are brave enough to take a l00k!!
